In a gesture of environmental care and community responsibility, Iron Foundry ŚREM – one of the key plants of the PGO S.A. Group – took part in a meaningful tree planting initiative in the urban space. The event was organized in cooperation with Grzegorz Wiśniewski, Mayor of Śrem.
This action serves as environmental compensation for the planned construction of a photovoltaic farm near the plant.
As highlighted by Jakub Kołakowski, Director of PGO S.A. Iron Foundry ŚREM, this type of initiative aligns with the company's broader sustainability strategy. Planting new trees is not only a symbolic act but a tangible and deliberate contribution to environmental protection and the cultivation of strong community relations.
