Even extremely small particles can block flow paths, damage channels, and lead to seizure of mating components—especially in systems with high functional requirements.
That’s why, in projects for the automotive sector and hydraulic systems, we rely on ISO 16232 / VDA 19 standards, which enable an objective assessment of a product’s technical cleanliness.
What does this look like in practice?
spray extraction of contaminants in a dedicated HYDAC cleaning booth,
5 µm filtration, allowing the smallest particles to be captured,
automated analysis and classification of contaminants,
two types of evaluation for each part:
– quantitative (number and size of particles),
– gravimetric (mass of contaminants).
Regular sampling makes it possible to confirm the effectiveness of washing and air-blow cleaning processes before further assembly or delivery. The result? Lower assembly risk and greater predictability in the performance of finished systems.
