Steam turbines from the Italian company De Pretto Industrie Srl, for which we supplied turbine casing parts as part of our eighth jointly executed international contract.
Our PIOMA foundry in Piotrków Trybunalski produced two castings using two different grades of cast steel: G20Mo5 and G17CrMo5-5. The components were mechanically machined and welded.
The production process was supported by MetalExpert, a company specializing in advanced welding and machining technologies.
Ultimately, the turbines will be installed at a power plant located on the Moroccan coast.
