One of PGO's core competencies is supplying high-quality products for the railway industry—not only for the passenger market but also for the freight sector. We had the opportunity to collaborate with Wagony Świdnica Sp. z o.o. (now Greenbrier Poland Sp. z o.o.), a company operating in multiple international markets.
We supplied components for the Shimmns-type wagon manufactured at the Świdnica plant. This is a four-axle freight wagon designed for transporting cold steel coils placed in special cradles. These coils are protected from weather conditions with a tarp that can be opened from both ends of the wagon. Loading and unloading are carried out from the top or sides using industrial cranes and forklifts.
