The successful field test of the Polish 155 mm artillery shell body marks an important stage in the development of domestic capabilities in the area of artillery ammunition. The test was carried out at the Military Institute of Armament Technology in Zielonka and was completed successfully.
This is a significant development for the Polish defence industry and another step in the cooperation between PGO S.A. and WITU. The project concerning the first Polish 155 mm artillery shell body supports the strengthening of Poland’s military security and the development of domestic production capabilities independent of foreign licences.
The completion of this stage confirms the importance of cooperation between industry and research and technical institutions in the field of defence solutions. The successful field test is an important reference point for further work on the production of the Polish 155 mm artillery shell body.
